Project Information

A simple bowl turned from some poplar. I had actually rough turned this bowl over two years ago and has been sitting on the shelf waiting for me to get motivated to do something with it! ha
It has a split in the side that I CA glued but I don't really mind. I'm not going to be eating my Capt'n Crunch with this bowl anyway so the crack shouldn't really affect it's function. I left it a bit heavy in the bottom so it acts like a Weeble Wobble when tipped on it's side, it just uprights itself. It is finished with a couple coats of shellac sanding sealer and some plain ol' carnuba furniture wax. I burned a couple of lines in it too, just to add some detail to it's basic shape.

Thanks for looking!

I like the profile you gave this bowl!!! The lines are a great touch helping to set off the rim of the bowl.
I agree with John keep up the good work!
