This the table/cabinet that I posted awhile back asking if anyone knew what the world it was. At any rate the legs are maple and in great shape. The rest id a mahogany veneer that is very thick and also in good shape. finshed it with Tongue oil, then wipe on poly, then paste wax. came out looking pretty good.

Very nice ‘fit and finish’. The grain really popped with your combo finish.

My Grandfather had a side table which looked very much like yours. It had one drawer at the top and two doors below.
He kept his pipes in the racks on the inside of the doors and a can of tobacco inside. Magazines on one end and the morning Newspaper on the other.

For that reason alone, it brought a smile to my face when you first posted it before your restoration.
