This was a gift I made for my mom for mother’s day. I am not a huge fan of making jewelry but it does give me an excuse to use exotic woods I wouldn’t normally have come through my shop, such as lacewood.
On a side note, I wish I had started making wood jewelry as gifts sooner. It’s pretty inexpensive but they go over real well. You are basically exchanging the usual monetary value of jewelry(which can be rather high) with sentimental value. Works for me and my wallet :)
On a second side note I hate making ovals.
