Hello everyone!
Last 8th was the birthday of my sister, no have anything in mind and the last moment, inspired by my last job, I thought it would be good to make a small box.
Using this Japanese closure system (not if you call him so, Cdaniels mentioned he never saw one so in 5 years Any other LJ in Japan?, I understand that is a traditional system, it would be good to know. Anyway you stay the name “Japanese close”, ha ha ha)
Well, following the idea. Take small pine boards 0.5 cm thick. I made the appropriate cuts, then sand and glue, later take a few small pieces of cedar, the same thickness as that use crossbars for the cover. Once again all glued sanded and finished matter.
Very happy with the result and thinking of doing some different size models soon.
The measures was thinking that could be used to store pens
Thanks for looking and big hug to all!
Gerardo

Super fine little box, I do love the Japanese tool box closure.
