Project Information

Was tasked to build a pirate bed for birthday boy, we searched all sorts of sites seeking plans. To no avail we took several pictures and developed our own idea. It took approximately 3 weeks to build.
A challenge to say the least but so much fun! He was so pleased with the final project! Hope others enjoy the pictures!!

Welcome to LumberJocks.

That has the potential for sooo many memorable voyages.

Very nicely appointed and well executed. Such a treat for a youngster.

Best Regards. - Grandpa Len.

Very nice bed! I'll take two…. One for us and one for downstairs me, so I'll have somewhere cool to sleep when she kicks me out of the bbedroom for ordering a cool bed.

Cool bed! I just hope those folks never decide to move. They'd have to tear out a wall to get that thing out. LOL

Awesome.
You'd have to read Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and of course, Treasure Island in that bed.

Good lord, I can NOT let me 5yr old son see this. Unbelievable job, especially with no plans to guide you. Love the lighting above the headboard, and the secret storage in the bow is genius.
