Hello. My name is Ralph and I am a clock-o-holic.
There are 18 clocks in my house including this last one I just made. I’m going to give this one away as present to my sister-in-law. The other 17 are mine and spoken for.
This one is made of solid cherry except for the back insert. That is a frame of 1/2” pine bridle jointed at the corners with 1/4” luan for the panel. I drilled a hang hole at the top back so it could be hung on a wall. The clock could be displayed on a shelf or a table – that’s why I put a back on it.

Magnificent. Another superb example. Really like the cherry!
