Neighbor called me and asked if I had ever made one of these and I said no and she said she was reading GRIT magazine—-didn’t even know it still existed—-and she copied and gave me the plans. Very simple and for the first one it turned out great. Cedar top measures 15” x 5” and the walnut legs are 15” x 1 1/2”. Finished with poly/oil/wax mix and is about as rustic as a person can make rustic. Sits well and is solid to the ground. May give it away but… looks great setting in front of the shop! Thanks for the looks and comments.

I like that, nice and natural and rustic.
Could make a nice display stand for the bowls you made .

That’s great. You gave me a good idea of a shop stool.

Well done, looks like it’s a sturdy little stool. Nice job.
