I was asked to make this project as a present for my uncle. The wood i used is sapele and the dimensions are 6” 1/2 by 5” 1/2 by 6” 3/4. I finished this project with 3 coats of finishing oil and a coat of beeswax, buffed to a high finish. I was very happy with how the finish came out as i have never used beeswax before.
Looking forward to you comments.
Woody.

Nice work. I like the color. Looks like the finish allows you the feel the wood and not a thick coat of plastic.
I have made projects with oil and wax finish.
These must have nice “hand”.
Thanks, Woody.

Nice lines – both within the design and within the wood itself. Nice finish that compliments everything.

That is a nice build, but could you tell me what it is? I mean no disrespect, I just don’t know what it is.
