I made this reliquary for my Grand Uncle George Coyle. It holds his ashes and mementos from his life. George was born on January 14, 1919 in Arkansas City, Kansas, he died on August 10, 2011 Denver, Colorado. Among other occupations, George was a Ranch Hand, Sergeant in the US Army before and during WW2, A Colorado State Patrolman, Edgewater Co Police Officer and Jefferson County Sheriffs Deputy. When the time comes his loving wife Peggy and her mementos will join him here, and I will carve the other side for her.
It is 4/4 African Mahogany, Plain mitered corners, relief carved and finished with Tung oil and wax. It has been re-oiled and waxed twice since.

-- Psalm 62: 11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, 12 and steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord. For you repay to all according to their work
