Morning all. I have turned several Cherry bowls lately. Mostly from free logs from a person cutting down a tree.
I’m pretty much a neub when it comes to turning, but these are the 2 best ones. The 1st one is 8 1/2” in dia. Sanded to 220g and finished with Teak oil. Quite a whack of sap wood. The 2nd is made from 6/4 Cherry with a bit of Walnut. 10” x 5 1/2. Sanded to 320g. Finished with Teak oil, spray Varathane and paste wax. thanks fer lookin’

These are both beautiful and I like the designs very much.

They look great to me, Mark. I especially like the one with the sapwood; I find it more interesting.
