To go along with our cooler table, I also did made this large seating area. I started with building a half wall to support the bench. The wall is 12 feet wide by 14 feet long and each end section is 6 feet. Taking away the corner table, the entire available seating area is around 30 feet. We haven’t filled every spot yet, but I’m guessing that it could hold around 12-15 people.

There is a small (2’x2’) corner table top that also serves as a cover for a small storage area. The bench itself is all cedar that was finished in the same manner as the table. The boards were plained and then sanded down a lot and then given around 5 coats of spar urethane. It has a nice high gloss shine and it really brings out the natural beauty and color of the cedar.

Very nice Brian. Well done. Have you thought about one of those propane gas fire pits. That would go awesome in the middle. JMTCW

Your whole combined project is very well designed and as well as your workmanship. Looks very nice.
