Here is a C-130 Shadowbox I was asked to build for a buddy of mine who just retired. It’s solid oak with Walnut windows and nose dome. The props are designed so that when it’s hanging on the wall, they will be small shelves that he can display more military items on. The wings are about 43”W x 8”H. I had to use plexi for the wing glass, the tail is actual glass. I put an LED kit in it to add a little touch of class for night time displaying. Thanks for looking!!

Very unique it turned out awesome.

C-130’s have always been one of my favorites-my dad was stationed at Forbes AFB (Topeka, KS) until it closed in 1973, where the 313th Tactical Airlift Wing was stationed.

Thanks for sharing.

Great work as usual. Currently working on a C-141; hopefully will be done next weekend. Does this mean your out of retirement?
