Here is a coop I was asked to build. This is the third coop I have done. This one is getting shingled, and painted by the owner. I am not sure I will get any pictures of it after its gone so I will post these. It is all decked out has built in heat lamps, porch light, window in the bird beak roof. The sliding barn door is one I salvaged from an old barn that fell down years ago and finally found a project for it. It will be painted red and white I am told.

It is not typically what I like to do but it turned out good. I saw some others post some coops so I figured it was ok to do. I at least get to display a little creativity with it. I think I will get back to real woodworking now. Couple maloof style rockers should fix that!

I like it when people post useful items. this is woodworking. so are maloof inspired pieces. The folks who will use this will enjoy for years, and the hens who live in it, will have excellent accommodations . thanks for sharing
