This is really my first real wood project. My daughter and her husband are soon to be 1st time parents.

Looks great! Can you give us some more details on it such as type of wood, plans used, etc.? I’ve got to make one these myself here soon

This was made from solid oak. Legs are 2 – 3/4” pieces glued together. I didn’t have plans so I tried using Sketch-Up but could not seem to figure it out so I did it the old fashion way. Drew up the plans on 1/4” graph paper. All the slats are inset into the rails. Made it easier than all mortison tenon joints. Went to the government website for slat spacing.
