I wanted to return a kind gesture to a coworker who had given me a cigar (from her husband’s stash) when my son was born. It only took me a year to complete, partly cause of time constraints but also I wanted a design I was happy with. I saw the travel humidors posted by Kade Knight on this site and liked the design. The wood was offcuts and scraps sold by the pound at the local specialty hardwood store, hardware from Lee Valley, all for under $15. Made from curly maple, black walnut and spanish cedar.
Holds roughly 3-4 cigars depending on size.
