This block of BKP came in from CO. and I had no Idea how to use it. It had this limb coming out of the middle and the block was half slate and half yellow. I really like the colors. Seemed that it could make an interesting BDS Box so here it is. It is about 6” x 6” x 3 1/2” thick. As always the pull knob is deer antler. I may have to give it one more coat of poly thinned with 40% thinner. The finish wipes on and flows nice.

railbuck, all my work is spontaneous and I’d never remember how I did something so can’t make a copy. That’s part of the challenge for me. A lot of my designs just happen on the band saw when the wood kinda tells me how it wants to be cut. Some of the others I draw out but nothing too detailed in case the wood doesn’t agree. Like they say….”that’s how I roll”. Whatever that means?
