This was made for my brother in law for his birthday. It is made from maple and sapele. I shaped the belly of the sides and lid using the table saw to remove the bulk of the material and then used files and sandpaper to get it nice and rounded. It is sanded to 320 grit and finished with two coats of Briwax (clear) on the raw wood. It has black felt used to line the bottom. It is 12” wide, 8” deep and 5” tall to the top of the handle.

Thanks for looking and any comments are appreciated!

Lucky guy to get such a nice box (piece of art in my book). wonderful grain on the top and really like how the handle flows with the rest of the design. Great shaping!!!

Keep up the great work!
