During a few rainy days I put these benches together from wood I sorted out of my firewood pile. Clear with bark of each side, I hated to burn clear wood, they where rough hemlock 2 by 8’s. In my mind I could see a campfire with friends enjoying the view of the mountains. Only trouble is several people came by and wanted to buy one. Quess I can’t sit on all four at the same time anyway. But if any of you want to stop by I will make some more, I have a nice park area with a creek running through it Free camping too.
Thanks for looking and the invitation is open.

Great benches, wonderful view to sit in and see also

They look like they will hold me with my pockets full of saw dust

Great benches and the view is fantastic. It’ll be hard to kick me out of there if I ever come by. Thanks for sharing.

How close to Chilliwack? I have a son that lives there and I come up from time to time. Would love to see the benches in person. Good work.

To be honest, I just clicked on here just for the view, and what a great one at that! Those are some sturdy, well made benches you made there. Now I have to build that teardrop trailer I got plans for and take you up on that offer of free camping!

For those from the southern 48, this is one place you can stop at on your way to Alaska. My first job in BC was at Smithers and Hazelton was in my territory. Exceptional beauty! The benches are well crafted.
