I wish I’d made something like this decades ago. My daughter is moving and the marks on the doorjamb that showed my grandkids growth will be gone with the house. However, I have a new grandchild, so it’s not too late for him. I’ll have to see the color of the woodwork in their new place, and make one. The sink step stool for kids looks neat, too.
How did you do the numbers and lines? Stencil/paint, router?

How did you mark the numbers? My wife has been after me for a few yrs to do this and you know I just need to do it and surprise her. Thanks for the inspiration!

I just used stickers for the numbers, and used a black sharpie to mark the lines.
