Civil War Cot

This is a project that I started just because I thought it was cool. It is a replica of a Civil War Officers Cot but my Granddaughter decided she needed it. So since she is a hard core Georgia fan I painted it up for her and put her name on it. The wedges in the end runners hold it together and once you pull those out the ends come off and you can roll it up and wrap the rope around it and tie it down. Now it is easy to store under the bed or in a closet and ready to pull out on her visits here.

Very cool…it’s a shame you had to ruin it with that Dawg logo :) :) :) It would much better painted white and gold with a GT on it :) :) :)

Hotbyte my wife and Granddaughter both would probably disown me if I was to do that. :) :). We are what you call a no orange house, my wife went to Georgia and I went to Texas A&M. :)

Ken it was a lot of fun to build, it was a nice little break from all the baby beds I have been having to make :)

It’s very nice and I’m sure that she loved that.

Cute project. Isn’t it funny how our little girls suggest something and we take it as a command! It would look better with TN orange. :D
