the skeleton consists of curved frames that has mortises along it and other wood sticks are joined to it and covered with stained glass
yes it took a lot of time to build

Ok, I had to search to see what “gerehchini” was …. Now that I see, I think you’re doing a good job at it . Neat globe.

And if anybody else is wondering … ”Gerehchini is a kind of art in Iran that is made from wooden sticks joined together with mortise and tenon joints and sometimes filled with stained glass.”

amazing construction. what are the dimensions we are looking at? I would love to see the mortise/tenon pieces!
