Now a days everyone can use one of these. Tv’s keep getting bigger and bigger. I needed something fairly Long to look right, and low to the floor to. Took a week or so of putting ideas together but this is it. 1 sheet of oak plywood! The colums are 4 pcs mitered together and fluted on the router table. The bases/tops of the colums are routered to look like a Roman colum – give it a modern “cool” look + matches the TV.
I only had enough extra to throw in 1 shelf. To cover the ply edge, I used a thin piece of veneer cut from some scrap Oak. The walls and shelf are all blind dadoed together. The colums were just spray painted with a gray fleck paint- makes em look like stone. Didn’t have plans, just kinda took some meaurements and started cutting. Took about 2days. Hope you enjoy.
James
I didn’t know the dust was so bad till these pics- and dont mind the statues. lol

Very thoughtfull design. Sometimes “mobility” is inevitable feature in furniture design, and I believe it was well blended during designing stage.
Thank you for sharing.

Nice table. I like the look of the columns.
