Well, I told y’all a couple of days ago that I was down to scrap. The wood is about all gone so today I tried something to give me something to do and to empty what scraps are in the trash can.

These insert pieces are all random sizes, thick ones, thin ones, narrow ones and wide ones and all the different wood I have been using for the last several months. Cut to width, mounted on 1/2”plywood and bordered with some thin scraps of BKP, it has become picture frames. Looks like I have enough scrap to make as many frames as Kathy can find photos or prints to fill. And depending on size of scrap the frames can be up to 3-4” wide. This one is 1 1/4”.

I expect some will become Christmas presents for family. Again, nothing special but it is nice when an idea comes together and works. Too many don’t.

Just what I did not need… I can picture the following conversation with my wife all too well:

“No honey, we can’t throw away the 200 bf of scraps I have in 4 bins. now I understand you would like to get to the bed without manouvering around my scrap bins, But I am going to make pictureframes out of all of this, I promise..”

Other than that, nice save!
