I needed something to carry a couple of handguns to the range without bringing my larger range box. Decided to create a “Briefcase” style box for my Glock and my .38 Cal. The case holds almost 200 rounds of ammunition, spare targets, a flashlight, 4 mags and a speed loader for the .38. The whole thing weighs less than 20 pounds and is easy to carry. It also has a good lock. Constructed from ¼” plywood for the sides (which I laminated for extra strength) and hardwood for the frame. It’s great for an hour or two at the range without bringing the whole armory.

Great design and nicely done. Remember to aim small and shoot well.

Good idea! Just keep them locked away in a sturdy locker or safe so you can enjoy them for years to come and pass them along to the next generations.

It’s nicely done and very practical.
