Ipad holder for shop

My dog ate my leather Ipad case so that was my incentive to make a new stand for use in the workshop. This stand is stable in either the landscape or portrait position. One side of the face-frame releases to allow the removal and insertion of the Ipad. The base , arm and backing are cherry and the front face frame is Macacauba. The finish is semi-gloss lacquer. The wife can also use it in the kitchen for recipes while cooking.

Wow this is very nice. You didn’t happen to make any plans or a blog about the build did you?

Wow, that looks great. Maybe a little weird making a PC out of an iPad, but nostalgic and real pretty! Very nice work too.

Great idea, you say you can view in both Landscape and Portrait view, can you take a different angle of back to get that view

It’s woodworking meets technology I love it! You should get that put in a magazine

Looks great. I’d like to see the portrait/landscape mechanism a little better, also.

Added a picture of the back which shows the mount that allows for rotation of the screen. It is an old cell phone bracket that allows for rotation of the screen. Thanks for all the kind comments

Wow sweet! I really like that. Can you show the removable section so I can see how the iPad is inserted?
