This is a train that I built as a gift for my nephews 5th birthday. He is an absolute train freak and has dozens of train toys, but not a wooden one. I left it unfinished so he can paint it. I am really happy with the final product; there was a lot of trial and error.

I hope he enjoys it.

That’s an awesome train. I like that you used large wheels to make the cylinder of the locomotive. Fine craftsmanship.
