These are some of the dog leash holders I’ve been doing. All natural wood, no stains or paints used.

Wow, very impressive and realistic looking. Do you start with a photograph, or what?

Supernice! I like it how you have combined the different types of wood. Great!

Great idea for leash holders and yours are nicely done. Have you ever come across a pattern for a Doberman? I found one for a Dobie puppy, but I want one for a full grown Dobie.

By the way, I’m a fan of all your intarsia you have put here. I haven’t commented on all of them, so get a stamp that say “PaulDoug likes this” to put on them all.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Yes, I go from owner’s own photos or I have stock photos. I started with the lab template from Intarsia.com. Then friends and family started sending their own pics. Love the Challenge of a new breed.
PaulDoug: Your stock pic of your doberman looks like a cool one to do. The Ebony might be a little pricey though. I just finished a black lab that cleaned me out of my gaboon Ebony! Here’s one of the pics from the black lab. Man!

Welcome Sumestriquis! And from DuBois no less. Your intarsia is great. I come from a steel town called Johnstown. It’s nice to have you and your work all up on this site!
