Project Information

I've been working on the project that seems like it will never end. A wall unit with 10 drawers.
Since I will need to dado 40 drawer parts for the bottoms, I figured I should finish my router table.

Top is melamine, t-track from Hartville Tool, up the road (literaly).
It is currently mounted on the cabinate I recycled and place my miter saw on.
Based rufly on plans from shop notes for a bench top router table.

We will see how it works when I'm ready to build all the drawers.

Looks good and strong.

I really like the clamping system. I would have never thought of using them like this!

Thanks

I hope those clamps can endure the vibrations of routing without loosening up on you :O)

I also like the toggle clamping idea. I don't think they'll loosen from vibration.

Nice router table. The tTraks look the bomb. You might need a fence sometime?

Sorry to dredge this post up from forever ago, but, just wondering how the toggle clamps have held up, any loosening up during use? I only have one router and like the idea of a quick change from router to router table.

Thanks,
Craig

The toggle clamps work fine.
The nuts do tend to loosen after while from the vibrations. I'm going to add a second nut or a lock nut on the post to hold the nuts in place.
