Hey everyone, just completed a sofa table from a Steve Ramsey plan and thought I would share.Fits perfect at both my sofa and easy chair level. Made of 1” paduak and the top is yellow heart, fastened wit Kreg jig and glue.
Sanded to 320 and then used laquer sanding sealer, resanded at 400 and sprayed with satin laquer. Heavy as the
paduak is 1”thick. Tell me what you guys think.

it’s a very different looking table and something that I would like. Good color coordination and design. Nicely done.

Very nice build. I can see how that would be useful. I’ve seen other designs of this type of table in the past.

Very nice design! I’ve been looking at “couch tables” on Pinterest for a while. I think I need to make one. My dogs have claimed both the left and right sides of the couch, leaving the middle seat for me, and no place to put my drink!

I looks very nice.I like the design and way you did it but I personally don’t care for the top which does not match colourwise and slightly spoils the overall look as I say only my opinion, which I feel is a great pity as otherwise you have done very well sorry IMHO of course but I don’t think this looks quite right.Perhaps opthers will disagree of course.Alistair

That’s pretty awesome. It looks very clean and the design is impressive. You carried it out nicely.
