This is a piece of Ironwood that was given to me by a member of the Southwest Arizona Woodturners Guild Approx 6.5 inches tall Fun and easy piece to turn but then I guess it looks like an easy piece. Great aroma in the shop LOL

Beautifully turned, Ron. The simple shape really lets the grain be the star. How hard was this on the tools?
Thanks for sharing.

The bad part about the wood is that the dust compacted agains the cutting tool and turned hard. I was using the Carter Tear Drop with the 17 % Titaniam and it held its edge but I had to continue to clean it

Very nice Ron, that Ironwood has some beautiful tones of colour in it, very pretty and nice shape.
Thanks for sharing Ron.
