My hand tool corner in the Have Hammer, Will Travel woodworking school for kids in Ajijic, Mexico. I built everything, including the workbench, sharpening station and lathe tool rack, which is a reproduction of Dewayne’s tool holder.

Looks handy. I like the idea. wow/ wood shop. brings back memory’s for sure.

Nice and big shop! Congrats!!
How did you hang the mallets? Would you take a closer pic?

The mallet handles hang between 1/2 inch dowels spaced about an inch apart. In one case (the second mallet from the left), I realized the end of the mallet was too narrow for the dowels, so my temporary solution was to add a 1/4” dowel between the other dowels and whittle it down till the hole in the mallet end fit.
