I am fascinated by old colonial house shutters. These were saved from the dumpster when a circa 1760 colonial was being renovated nearby. See photo #5 of the solid raised panel shutters still on the house. The end panel is a solid raised panel shutter cut down, then a louvered shutter, was laid horizontal, with the louvers removed for the front and back. The original shutter slide latch (look close in center) is left on. New cherry top.
