Project Information

I created this pattern and plaque a few years ago, but it remains one of my favorites. I thought it would be appropriate to post it here on Easter.

The plaque is 16" x 12" walnut. The overlay pieces are as follows:

Lettering and grape vine border - 1/8" oak
Cross and halo - 1/8" yellow heart
Christ figure - 1/8" aspen

The finish is spray polyurethane.

I designed the plaque after seeing the saying on it. I liked it and thought it would be an inspiration to many. The pattern is available on my site (http://www.sheilalandrydesigns.com/product/SLD110)

I hope you like it. :)

Hi Sheila,
Thanks for sharing the message! I can see how precise the cutting was done, the proportion and location of the letters, and finally the colors in monochrome brown background making emphasis on white Jesus on the cross.
Happy easter.

Thank you all for the very kind comments. I am very glad you all like the plaque and appreciate them a lot. I wasn't on the computer much yesterday, as we had company, but it was nice to so many kind and supportive thoughts.

Thank you again! Sheila
