This is a gift for my daughter. She works in the “Young Marines” organization so I asked her what I could build to put on her desk. She wanted a Marine Corp Tank.
Little did she know it would take up most of the desk. This model is 24” long.
I used Birch, Poplar and Walnut and finished it with tung oil. Building jigs was a big part of this project.

Very nice model. Great Detail. I almost missed the treads in the picture on the rocks.

Did your daughter like it? After all, that’s all that matters …besides the fact that it is a beautiful modell!
