I made this table specifically for this spot so a table could fit over that radiator. It’s made of Oak and Walnut. I was concerned with the legs not being strong enough so I put the skirt on with just a couple screws to locate the legs. Then put the legs in and put 4 screws from the leg to the top with the Kreg jig, then took the skirt off and put 4 more on the other 2 sides of each leg. Then attached the skirt for real.

Very nice, looks great!! But careful of that radiator. The direct and dry heat to the underside can cause problems….I have 1st hand experience with such an event :o/

so far it’s not been an issue with this table, but I made something else that broke itself apart the first winter. That table looked great when it was new but now it just holds my printer. It’s pretty annoying to spend lots of time on something only to have it fall apart a few months later.
