Project by Greg The Cajun Box Sculptor posted 95 days ago 1236 views 2 times favorited 26 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Interrositer is a commission piece from a recent show I just completed. The box is mostly Marblewood with a slight taste of Bloodwood for accents. The size is 11”x7”x5.25” and has 2 removable trays.

This is from some of my old school sculpting designs that always seem to sell well. I will get it packaged and shipped Monday morning. We have two more shows coming up…Jazz Fest in New Orleans next weekend and a show in Nashville the following weekend…so I have some busy days ahead.

-- Every step of each project is considered my masterpiece because I want the finished product to reflect the quality of my work.

Nice piece Greg, I really like the fit of your lids. The “old school” shaping is my favorite I think. Do you sell many boxes at Jazz Fest? I would not of thought of selling high end products there – of course, I’ve never been to Jazz Fest – even though I live probably 20 minutes away :-).

That’s a nice commission to get and I like the trays for this one .
Very nice sculpting and wood color combination just all works great together and I expect you will have a happy customer and hope you get paid well for this beauty .
Good luck at the upcoming shows and I hope more commissions coming .

Very exotic piece! I’m happy that you have people seeking you out. Hoping your reputation grows! Have you considered an etsy store?

That marblewood is awesome and the bloodwood is a perfect complement to it. Carving is up to your usual standards and the bloodwood stripe through the handle is a nice touch.
