Well, it took a lot longer than I expected, but I finally finished it up. C & C welcome and appreciated. One thing I learned, I have a lot to learn!

Things I added or modified from the plans:

Added bumpers
Modified the grill
Extended the cowling around the grill
Modified the headlights
Added the chrome stripes
Changed the windshield
Added rear view mirrors
Modified the steering wheel
Added pedals
Added the center drive train hump
Added shifter
Added door handles
Modified the tail lights
Made/modified the wheels and tires.
Added flaring along the side of the chassis between the front and back fenders.

Thank you for the comment. My Dobie is 10 years old. Unfortunately he is getting old and won’t be with me a whole lot longer. This is my third one and he is the best friend I ever had. He is totally dedicated to me.

Paul that’s really incredible, I’ve always wanted to build a particular car out of wood and honestly not sure where to start, even with all I’ve built, it’s seems like I’m missing some kind of tool, probably a small bench lathe, scroll saw…oh and the knowhow, haha.

That is really great. Where did you get the plans.
The Auburn boat-tail has been my dream car since I was a kid. Building one is the only way I’ll ever get one.
Beautifully done.
