I got the blanks on Monday the 25th, and the process of making them into veneer looks daunting. I was disappointed in the color of the Gabon Ebony, although mostly black, there were visible streaks of darker brown. They were encased in wax, suggesting they were still green. I will try out a few methods of drying them out.
