I'm 23 and I haven't been working with wood for to long, about 4 years.
I work at a cabinet shop and can use any of the scraps, and I hate to see all that wood go to waist...also I like to make things myself so wood working is a natural fit for me.
We almost always use common woods so the selection I have to choose from is rather low, only about 5 or 6 kinds but thats more than enough for me.
I'm glad I found this site, all the different projects have been a real inspiration to me, they have given me a lot of ideas and head scratchers...lol.
Now its my turn to contribute a little. 8)
