wood steamers - 6 replies I was looking through some blogs about how to make wood steamers and how long it takes before you can bend the wood…. Face book - 14 replies FYI to all lumberjocks…..After some discussion about facebook on this site….I have cancelled my facebook account. Plane question - 12 replies Yes, this has to do with a planner….I have two Stanley planners, each 14” long. One is a #5 planner with groves on the face…..the other has no number on it and the face is smooth. My question is, should this other plane have a number on it also?? And, while I’m at it….what do the numbers mean?? |

Re-saw Band saw.. - 18 replies I tried to resaw some pieces awhile back but every time I try it….the blade keeps wandering! I can’t seem to keep the blade going straight…it wanders to the left or right and makes a lousy cut! What am I doing wrong or what needs to be done to correct this?? I’m using a 1/4 inch blade and have increased the tension on it ... |
