Well, I’ve taken the plunge….I ordered the hardware for my murphey bed from Lee Valley. First task is to read and review the CD about 5 times to get a feel of what I need to do next. Something like “measure twice , cut once!”
I hope my workshop is big enough for me to assemble this unit. Anyway, stay tuned…will have pictures next time…..maybe :-)

ok…..so if you’re thinking, I want to build a vertical murphey bed…..”then order a vertical kit…!! not a horizontal kit!”
Good that I noticed that little thing, before I started cutting up the plywood!! Time for an exchange….

Ok guys and gals…let’s get the show on the road…......got the right kit this time..reviewed the CD one more time …..have gone down to my favorite lumber yard and ordered the plywood. I’ve asked them to cut the pieces for me as it is much easier for them to handle the 4×8 sheets and cut them on their big powerful saws! ok…I could have done it myself but why strain my back when I can let a much younger guy to it. Pictures should be starting to appear soon…on my projects in progress….
