I started wood work later in life with a very steep learning curve. Lots of reading and watching videos and joining a number of clubs allow my passion to develop. It also helps to have a 4 car garage which can be set up as a workshop! (a big change from apartment!).
I am primarily a wood turner (in my spare time!) however would like to explore other aspects of woodworking including 'flat work', carving, pyrography and scrollsaw. Not enough time!!
Lumberjocks have blown me away with the talent and friendliness of the people here.
Hope I can learn lots.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
