476 posts in 730 days Location: Havana , between Midway and Tallahassee Florida I'm 67 and have been carving, sculpting, turning, building, and designing with wood seriously since I came home from the Army (1970). I designed and built a bowl turning lathe in the early 1980's and kept myself busy with it for too long. It was the first edition of several power tools built under the name of the "Snappy-Ass" tool co. I enjoy lumberjocks site and making friends here that I can share tricks and secrets with that I've picked up over the years...It is fulfilling and a learning process as well.
