no previous part Part 1 of Hallway Mirror frame series Part 2: Assembley of frame »

This project started off by trying to find a mirror that I could use without paying 60 or 70 dollars. my dad came through with a large mirror that he found, it was slightly damaged on the edges and had a big break across the top. Never cutting glass before I set out searching u-tube and found a few good instructional videos. Then I went to the local hardware store and picked up a glass cutter. I did a few practise cuts on some old glass that i had lying around and vwala. It’s fairly easy to do, I even did a few arched cuts that snapped of perfect. Then I set to work on trimming the Mirror.

Next i have selected some nice clear Fir For this Frame project. Now I must get back to work.

And a big Thanks to Greg Wurst for plans on this project. It saved me alot of time.
Cheers

Finally! I got the picture uploading thing down. What a chore it was. For some reason my computer was adding info to the direct link address when I posted the picture? I got it now though.
