This is really an update to “my shop”. I look at all the great shops on this site and do pick up a lot of ideas. I hope that some of you will look at my shop and be able to do so also. I have been doing this a long time and like many of you have many secrets hidden away from sight and would like to discuss your shop and its many secrets. As I do not do this for a living it would be nice to talk with others who just love to make things.

You have a very nice shop. I enjoyed taking a browse through, and reading up on some of your projects (I really liked the watch chest with the hidden drawer). I look forward to my shop being nicer someday :).

I like your dust collection setup on your band saw. I’m sure it works better right there near the cutting area.

It does work best for me. I have tryed a lot of ideas about this. You can make the connector with a piece of thin wall tubing elbow 4”. Requires a little easy cutting (hacksaw) and some bending (heat up a little with propane torch). I have one problem which is you need to remove the connector to open the lower door. Not hard to do as it is held in place with a bungie cord. Passed thru you town Sat. on the way up to Bagdad to the saw mill.
