Well i thought you might like to see the fruits of the wifes labour and how the garden finished off looking

The fist picture is the shed that i built for the wifes garden tools

The decking area finished with planters that i made

The veggie patch is going great guns

so much food we are giving it to the folks next door

we moved in to our new house two years ago now and since we moved we have been meaning to get rid off the eye sore of a pond in the back garden it measured 17 foot by 9 foot and we hated it so this winter i took the bulls by the horn and started to dismantle the wretched thing after struggling with a bolster chiesel and club hammer i managed to remove the first two levels of concrete blocks i realised that the guy who built the damm thing loved concrete and lots of it he used 9 newton blocks and filled the gavatiy with concrete i understand the water pressure ratio to size of said pond but i really think it was overkill so out came the kango
the first picture is the hole we created

third picture is wife kangoing the top end of the hole

after we had broken down to ground level the lads helped me to start breaking up the ground at the base of the hole
