I am a semi-retired grandpa that pretends to keep busy in my shop. I am quite busy in the summer month building sheds, playhouses and garden decor. I enjoy the rough stuff but occassionally am drawn into finer cabinetry. I try to keep thing a little less detailed like book shelves, desks and bedroom furniture. Primarily because I am semi-retired due to a spinal cord injury. At times I am unable to correctly calculate things. And we all know how frustrating a wrong cut is.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Is that so? When was that and what pulled you away? Not that there is a real magnetic draw.

Hello Tim: Welcome to Lumber Jocks. I visited your website and I like your stuff, particularly the bird houses and feeders. Even though you said you like to stick to the rough stuff, these products are pretty elegant in my estimation. Enjoy that grandpa thing, I know I do. Unfortunately, my grand kids are 6 hours away in the Minneapolis suburbs. I hope you enjoy LJ as much as I do.
