« Part 1: Flip Stand Modifications Part 2 of Flip Stand Modifications series no next part

Well I hate to sound like i’m kicking a dead horse by still talking about this. But a back injury and work in general had me down for the count a few days.
Anyway now I can say “I’m done”.
The stand now has extensions that ad 6ft to the fence of the miter saw (with level adjustment)

The added drawer… no explanation necessary. We can all use more storage.
This can’t hold a candle to a dedicated miter station or planner station. But for a mobile one, this is hard to beat.

and they neatly stow on the sides.

Plantek, nice work. I got mine done Fri. I was going to post pics but my wife took the camera to work before I downloaded them.

I chose not to put the wings on it being, I had Two roller stands already so I use them. Plus then it takes less of a footprint. I was surprised how solid this is when the 4 knobs are tightened down.

The planer like you mentioned is heavy, so I built a stand for it a while ago. However your the flip top made so much sense, I had to make one. I stained main & filled in the holes with wood filler.

Nice work I might have to put a drawer in mine as well.

This is great. What did you use for a pattern or idea starter. I would like to do the same type of workstation.
