Tablesaw fence survey - 4 replies

I own a craftsman 22124 tablesaw which has been in storage unopened since I purchased it when they first came out. I am finally in the process of assembling it. As you know it comes with a beismeyer fence, but I have since purchased the Incra fence. So my question is what fence would you use and why, and if you have the 22124 with an Incra fenc...

straight edge - 7 replies

I am looking to purchase a straight edge to help with getting my table saw up and running. So far I have been impressed with Woodpeckers 36 inch SERXL-36. Do you know of a straight edge that is similar quality at a lesser price? I don’t need all the bells and whistles.

Help with Craftsman 22124 Tablesaw assembly. - 1 reply

Finally. after 12 years, there it is, unboxed and completely naked is my brand new 12 year old 22124. OK enough of that. My issue is that my cast iron extensions drop about a sixteenth of an inch. I have tried using a wedge but then there is a gap at the joint. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Gluing over stain - 6 replies

I just stained a box and then decided to put a wood scrollwork decoration on it. Will wood glue stick to stain? Any suggestions? Other alternatives? It is pretty thin, so I cannot nail it on. Thanks.

edge gluing partilelboard to oak or pine - 5 replies

I want to edge glue a 1×2 solid wood to a sheet of particleboard to give hinges real wood to connect to. Will the edge joint be strong enough between these two materials?
