So I have been switching back and forth between the dado blade and combination blade a lot lately on my PCS. I think these changeovers are a minor pain on all saws, but not much more work with a sawstop. Just swap the brake cartridge for a dado cartridge, and perhaps adjust the distance between the blade and brake. That is what the yellow Allen head bolt under the ZCI does. Sawstop includes a slick little gauge for testing the appropriate distance between the blade and brake. The Allen wrench isn’t the best, because it needs to be used in the vertical orientation.
